Anyone can buy all new parts and build a PC but there’s nothing like looking for good deals online and getting the best prices possible. If you're on a tight budget or looking for rare components, buying used PC parts can be a great option. (eBay/Mercari are my personal favorites) However, determining a fair price for used parts can be a challenge. In this post, we'll discuss some tips to help you figure out how much to pay for used PC parts.

• One of the best ways to get an idea of how much a used PC part is worth is my go to method is check on eBays sold listings. Look for the same or similar components that you are interested in and check the average price range for those components. This will give you a good idea of what to expect when it comes to pricing.
• Research the Original Price- To get a sense of how much a used component should cost, look up the original price of the component when it was new. This information can serve as a baseline for evaluating the price of a used part. Keep in mind that PC components generally lose value over time, so the price of a used component should be significantly lower than a new one. (EX. Amazon)
